This is the second time I review Pollo Dockys and if I could give them 10 stars, I would.

My family started on the keto diet, have you heard of it? I lost 18 lbs in 2 weeks and I was missing my Peruvian food but GUESS WHAT? Peruvian keto is the best!! And Pollo Dockys prepares it all with an incredible flavor. Ask for Keto Lomo Saltado y ceviche. El pollo a la braza es 100% Keto. It was like I could have my lomo and eat it (keto style) too.

Excellent service makes you feel like you are eating in Lima and the entire family stops by your table with a huge smile. Pollo Dokys is the best!!

Always a good day when you eat a good lomo!
Food was pretty good! We ordered a lomo, half a chicken and aguadito de pollo .
Lomo was delicious. It was authentic and felt very home made which is great because it's hard to find. The chicken was good too, the sides for the chicken could had been a bit bigger but it was good. The aguadito was super tasty good, the large soup was a good portion.
The environment of the restaurant was okay. It felt a bit stuffy in there. But the service was great! Very friendly and welcoming staff. Definitely will come back for that lomo when we visit town!

A few friends and I were going to try Marry Pickford Theatre to see a movie, and wanted lunch but we're running late .
We didn't know where to go that was close, good and fairly fast ... we decided to give pollo Doky's  a chance ... we were all very happy we did the chickens sandwiches were Great, with tasty chunks of fresh rotisserie chicken in them on a delicious po-boy type of roll .. one of us had ahi tuna ceviche , and he loved it !! I say definitely give this place a try ... it's not fancy, or big, but it's clean and friendly .... and it's counter service but it's tasty, and the workers were very nice too !!!

An unassuming hole-in-the-wall Peruvian joint with excellent comfort food.  It's counter service / fast casual / fine casual, so you don't have to deal with the hassles of a table service restaurant.  Though the dishes are made to order, so you will have to wait a tad longer than Chipotle.

Lomo Saltado (w/ Extra Meat): My favorite Peruvian dish so I must get this at every Peruvian restaurant as a benchmark.  Theirs was pretty solid for the reasonably priced category.  Ample amounts of soy sauce, cilantro and seared red onions to add tons of flavor.  I got the "Extra Meat" add-on and there were plenty of filet mignon chunks.  I really appreciated that they were seared on the outside and medium rare inside, just the way they should be.  Liked the fries, but felt they could have used a bit more in the dish

Aji de Galina: Tons of that creamy yellow sauce.  Soft chunks of shredded chicken inside.  Not as many flavors as the lomo saltado, but still quite tasty.  A great pairing with rice.

Chocotejas: Homemade chocolates with "caramel" filling and pecans or prunes.  The "caramel" seemed more like caramel flavored fudge.  Wasn't a huge fan of the pecan variety.  Did like the prune variety since it was chewy and paired nicely with everything else.
